Easy to use, quick results

I picked up the DesignBeast package mostly for the social media graphics and it was super easy. I just logged in, messed around with a template, and had an Instagram post ready in like ten minutes. No complaints, it just worked.

One-time payment good, upsells annoying

I bought the main DesignBeast suite because the one-time payment for six tools seemed like a steal. I primarily wanted the logo creator and t-shirt design templates. They worked well for what I needed. However, after the initial purchase, there were a lot of upsell offers, like the Elite and Ultra upgrades, which felt a bit much. I wish they'd bundle more upfront or make the upgrade paths clearer. Still, for the price I paid, it's a solid toolset.

Good value, minor glitch

I purchased the 6-in-1 AI design automation suite. The one-time payment felt like a solid deal compared to subscription services. The tools themselves are pretty robust for general use, especially the image editor and background remover. I managed to create a decent advertising banner without much fuss. My only gripe was a small hiccup during the initial login process; it took a couple of tries to get it to recognize my credentials. Once past that, it's been smooth.

Consistently reliable design tools

This isn't my first purchase from DesignBeast; I've bought their commercial license before and decided to get the agency upgrade this time around. I needed more features for client projects, specifically the local business marketing kits and e-commerce product images. Like last time, the access was immediate, and everything functioned as expected. The quality of the templates for the marketing kits has definitely improved since my last go, which was a nice surprise. It's comforting to know what you're getting and that it will actually deliver.

Thinking of switching from Canva to DesignBeast, mainly for the 3D live motion photos and object remover. Anyone made the jump? How does it compare overall?

P PoojaR 1 week ago ✓ Best Answer
I moved over a few months back. The 3D motion stuff is cool, definitely a step up from what Canva offers. Object remover is decent, not Photoshop level but good enough for most things. For basic stuff, Canva is still faster, but DesignBeast gives you more unique options.

Yeah, like just grabbing a template and tweaking text. Canva's library is huge for that. DesignBeast is more about creating unique elements.

Faster in what sense? Just general usability?

C coolboy88 1 week ago
I use both honestly. Canva for quick social media posts, DesignBeast for more involved projects like product images or when I need that magic object remover. They complement each other well.

DesignBeast was a one-time payment for me during a launch deal, so it wasn't a recurring thing.

That's an interesting approach. Not sure I want two subscriptions though.

Not sure about the comparison, but the magic object remover is pretty solid. Saved me a bunch of time on product shots.

Anybody had to get a refund from these guys? Just wondering how easy their money-back guarantee actually is if I don't like it.

J Josh K. 2 months ago
I didn't personally, but I've seen other people say it was straightforward. I think they have a standard 30-day policy.

M Mike Hughes 2 months ago
Yeah, it's pretty standard. If you're not happy within the window, just hit up their support and they should sort it out. Heard good things about their customer service on that front.

So if I get the commercial license, can I actually use the designs I make for clients? Like, sell them logos and stuff?

R Raj 1 month ago
Yep, that's exactly what the commercial license is for. You can make stuff for clients and charge them for it.

S Steve 1 month ago
That's the main perk of the commercial one, afaik. It lets you use everything for client projects and pretty much any business use.

Hey, wondering if this DesignBeast thing is like, a one-time purchase or if they sneak in a monthly fee later?

P Paula Lindqvist 2 months ago
Nah, it's a one-time payment for real. I bought it a few months ago and haven't seen any recurring charges.

R Ryan Osei 2 months ago
Yeah, totally legit one-time. They had some upsells for extra stuff but the main suite is just the single payment.

Just got the DesignBeast commercial license. Anyone else using it for client work? Curious about the workflow for handing off files.

D Deepak91 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
I'm using it for website banners and some ad creatives. For banners, I just export as PNG and they upload it. For ads, sometimes they want a few variations so I'll send multiple exports. The mockups feature is pretty good for showing concepts before final exports.

They really help clients visualize it. Makes a big difference.

Good point about the mockups. I haven't used those much yet.

Following this. Still on the fence about getting the commercial license but client work is tempting.

R RahulK 1 month ago
Yeah, I use it for social media graphics for a few local businesses. I usually just export the JPEGs/PNGs and send them over. Nothing too complex.
3
R RahulK 1 month ago
Nah, usually just the final images. Most clients don't need the editable files from DesignBeast.

P Priya 1 month ago
Do you ever share the project files themselves? Or just the final images?

Will DesignBeast work on my Mac? Or is it one of those Windows-only things?

M Mike 2 months ago
It's cloud-based so it works on any browser, doesn't matter if it's Mac or Windows.

J Julia P. 2 months ago
Totally fine on Mac! Since it's all online, you just open it in your web browser. No installs needed.

Does anyone know how DesignBeast stacks up against Canva? I use Canva a lot but this 'one-time payment' is tempting.

C Carly V. 1 month ago
It's pretty good for what it is, especially for the price. Canva has more templates and is maybe a bit more intuitive if you're used to it, but DB has some unique AI tools like the object remover that Canva doesn't.

G Gwen Y. 1 month ago
I'd say it's not quite as polished as Canva overall but the 3D motion stuff and some of the other AI features are really cool. For a one-time fee, it's a no-brainer to have both if you can swing it.

I saw something about a coupon for DesignBeast, where do you even put that in? Is there a box at checkout?

G Greg 2 months ago
Yeah, it's usually on the checkout page. There should be a field for a promo code before you finalize the payment.
0
L Lisa Osei 1 month ago
Most of their coupons are tied to specific launch pages or affiliate links, so sometimes the discount just applies automatically or you see the box pop up at the end.
